Long before history can remember, Biblios, a god of knowledge, wondered the world to give the gift of books to all creation. While not all would accept his gift, none were more stubborn than the Kobolds. "Why do we need mashed wood with scratches," each chieftan exclaimed, "when we have dragons."

On his last day in the world, as the legend goes, Biblios found your tribe. Much to his surprise, Cheiftan Qaeg cast away his fealty to the dragons and accepted the gift from Bibi (as the Kobolds called him). The moment he touched the tribe's first (and only) book, Qaeg's scaled skin changed to a stark white, marking him as Bibi's chosen. Sadly, Qaeg misunderstood Biblios' gift. Thinking it was his duty to protect the book, he took the tribe deep into the mountains, and there they remained, isolated from the world.

Once in a generation a stark white pup is born, and that child is seen as Bibi's Chosen and groomed to be the tribe's new chieftan. And so it was with you, born with white scales you began the preparation for a life of power and (relative) luxury. That is until your power manifested. Luckily, instead of killing you, your tribe saw you as the reincarnation of their ancient cheiftan. They took this as a sign that you must leave, travel the world, and find a way to commune with Bibi. You are not allowed to return until you know what Bibi now wants of your tribe.

You are not sure how much of this you believe, but you are sure that with enough time you can amass enough wealth and power to take back your tribe.... and maybe others.
